Admision to MBBS colleges in India is based on either merit or money. Generally, to get MBBS merit seat following are considered
- Marks obtained in the competitive examinations conducted at central or state level.
- Marks obtained in Senior Secondary Examination or Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany and Zoology).
Eligibility for Admission
Students who have passed 10+2 exam with physics, chemistry and biology(Zoology & Botany) are eligible for admission into MBBS course. Student must be an Indian National for admission through All India Entrance Exam or from the concerned state where he/she wants to take admission. Student should have completed 17 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
Entrance Examinations
Entrance examinations are conducted at central level, state level and at the university level for allocation of MBBS seats.
